Intro - Het is herfst, dé tijd van het jaar om naar paddenstoelen te zoeken! Chevonne en Joris van Maashrooms nodigen je van harte uit om samen de natuur in te gaan om paddenstoelen te zoeken en de schoonheid van de natuur te bewonderen. Terwijl we dat doen geven we een paddenstoelen introductie voor beginners, afhankelijk van de deelnemers zowel in het Nederlands als in het Engels.

Locatie - Riemst, Sint-Pietersberg (België). De exacte startlocatie ontvang je bij je ticket.

Tijd - van 11:00 tot +/- 13:00

Bijdrage - € 6,50 + € 1,50 servicekosten

Algemene planning - 

1. De groep verzamelen 15 min voor de starttijd

15 minuten voor de starttijd verzamelen we iedereen die zich heeft aangemeld voor de wandeling. We beginnen de wandeling op de starttijd.

2. Start wandeling

Dan gaan we op pad! 🥳 Voor het geval er nog iemand komt, delen we een live locatie via de Maashrooms WhatsApp-groep, zodat degenen die later zijn ons kunnen vinden.

3. Korte pauze 🍏

1 uur na de start nemen we een pauze van 10 minuten, waarin we een lunchsnack kunnen eten.

4. Nog een stuk wandelen & afsluiten

Daarna gaan we verder met het zoeken naar paddenstoelen. Aan het einde komen we bij elkaar om afscheid te nemen, waarna een aantal mensen kan besluiten om iets te gaan drinken in een cafeetje in de buurt.

Wat mee te nemen?

We raden aan om kleding en schoenen te dragen die geschikt zijn voor de weersomstandigheden. Als het regent, is regenkleding aan te raden, evenals laarzen of wandelschoenen die bestand zijn tegen modder. Bovendien kun je een lunchsnack meenemen voor de pauze van 10 minuten; wij zorgen ook voor wat fruit voor de groep.

Mag ik mijn hond meenemen?

Zolang je hond vriendelijk is tegen andere mensen en andere honden, wat ons betreft ja! Plaats gerust een bericht in onze WhatsApp community waarin je vraagt of mensen die mee wandelen het goed vinden dat je je hond meeneemt.

In geval van droogte of andere weerextremen -

De geplande datum is onder voorbehoud, omdat de weersomstandigheden goed moeten zijn. Na een goede dosis regen duurt het ongeveer 1 week voordat er paddenstoelen verschijnen. Een reeks warme, droge dagen voor een geplande excursie is niet geweldig voor paddenstoelen. Daarom laten we uiterlijk de donderdag voor een geplande paddenstoelen zoektocht weten of het evenement doorgaat, of dat we het moeten annuleren. In het geval dat wij moeten annuleren, krijg je per mail twee opties aangeboden:

A) Je krijgt een voucher ter waarde van het volledige aankoopbedrag (incl. servicekosten) die je kunt gebruiken voor één van de volgende wandelingen (geldig t/m 31 december 2025).

B) Je krijgt het aankoopbedrag excl. servicekosten terug op je rekening geboekt.

Annuleringsvoorwaarden -

Als je een ticket heb besteld en je onverhoopt toch niet kan komen, laat het graag op tijd weten. Tot 7 dagen voor de start van de wandeling (168 uur) kan je je boeking annuleren, dan krijg je het aankoopbedrag exclusief de servicekosten terug op je rekening geboekt. Bij een annulering minder dan 7 dagen voor de wandeling is restitutie niet mogelijk. Dan kan je echter wel jouw ticket aan iemand anders geven die dan mee kan met de wandeling op vertoning van je ticket.

Intro - It's autumn, the perfect time of year to go for a mushroom walk! Chevonne and Joris from Maashrooms excitedly invite you to join us into nature to search for mushrooms and admire the beauty of nature. During the walk, we'll give a beginner's introduction to mushrooms, depending on the participants in Dutch as well as English.

Location - Riemst, Sint-Pietersberg (België). You will receive the exact starting location with your ticket.

Time - from 11:00 to +/- 13:00

Fee - € 6,50 + € 1,50 service costs

General planning - 

1. Gather the group 15 mins before the start time

Fifteen minutes before the start time, we gather everyone who has registered for the walk. We begin the walk at the start time.

2. Start the walk

Then let's get going! 🥳 In case anyone else is still on their way, we'll share our live location via the Maashrooms WhatsApp group so that those who are late can find us.

3. Short break 🍏

1 hour after starting time we take a 10 minute break, in which we can have a lunch snack.

4. Walk some more & conclude

Then we will look for more mushrooms. At the end we gather for goodbyes, after which some of the people can decide to have a drink at a nearby café.

What should I bring?

We recommend to put on clothing and shoes that fit the weather conditions. If it is rainy, rain protective clothing is recommended as well as boots or walking shoes that can withstand mud. Furthermore, you can bring a lunch snack for the 10 minute lunch break; we will also bring some fruits for the group.

Am I allowed to bring my dog?

As long as your dog is friendly towards other people and other dogs, we'd say: sure! Feel free to post a message in our WhatsApp community asking if people who are joining are okay with you bringing your dog.

In case of drought or other extreme weather conditions -

The planned date is subject to change, as weather conditions must be favourable. After a good amount of rain, it takes about a week for mushrooms to appear. A series of warm, dry days before a planned excursion is not ideal for mushrooms. Therefore, we will let you know by the Thursday before a planned mushroom walk whether the event will go ahead or whether we need to cancel it. In case we have to cancel the event, you will be offered two options by email:

A) You will receive a voucher worth the full purchase amount (including service costs) that you can use for one of the upcoming walks (valid until 31 December 2025).

B) The purchase amount excluding service costs gets refunded to your account.

Cancellation policy -

If you have ordered a ticket and are unable to attend, please let us know in time. You can cancel your booking up to 7 days before the start of the walk (168 hours), in which case the purchase price excluding service costs will be refunded to your account. If you cancel less than 7 days before the walk, no refund will be possible. However, in that situation you can give your ticket to someone else who can then join the walk upon presentation of your ticket.
